...HAZARDOUS SEAS WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS
EVENING TO 3 PM PDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, very steep and hazardous
  seas 9 to 12 feet expected. For the Small Craft Advisory,
  northwest winds 15 to 25 kt with localized gusts to 35 kt and
  seas 9 to 12 feet.

* WHERE...Cape Mendocino to Pt Arena out 10 nm.

* WHEN...For the Hazardous Seas Warning, from 9 PM this evening
  to 3 PM PDT Saturday. For the Small Craft Advisory, until 9 PM
  PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or cause
  damage to vessels.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Recreational boaters should remain in port. Commercial vessels
should prepare for rough seas and consider remaining in port
until hazardous seas subside.

  California out to 10 nm.

* WHEN...From 3 PM Saturday to 3 AM PDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...North winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts to 35 kt and steep to
  very steep wind-driven seas of 8 to 13 ft. Winds may briefly
  reach gale force, 25 to 35 kt with gusts to 40 kt, late this
  afternoon.

* WHERE...All areas south of Port Orford and beyond 1 to 2 nm from
  shore will experience very steep and hazardous warning level
  seas. Conditions hazardous to small craft are expected for all
  other areas. A brief period of gales is possible south of Pistol
  River and beyond 15 nm from shore late this afternoon.

* WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or
  damage vessels. Bar crossings will become especially
  treacherous.
